You know you need insurance to legally park it on the street? And road tax, really. I’d insure it just in case, anyway, unless that’s prohibitively expensive - might be cheaper to take out an annual policy and then pay the cancellation fees than to get temporary cover/

Yeah its on a driveway though so not a problem. I’m considering switching from twingo to mondeo and selling the twingo. Getting quotes while I decide. It can stay SORN on the drive for now tho.

Yeah we’ve SORNed cars before so we were aware of the rules surrounding it. I’m really wanting to keep the mondeo now though so it might be on the road sooner than later.

Those are mighty cool but realistically the Mondeo suits my needs really well. I do a lot of 70mph roads which the Twingo hates and gets awful mileage on (getting sub 40mpg). I haul stuff a lot too and have a caravan in the family I can use if I have a capable tow car (will need to do trailer training too likes.)

Yeah, those Mondeos are a hell of a lot of car for the money. I just hate the idea of depreciation. Much more fun to have something that increases in value while you own it :)
